Visitor Check In

Vendor Representatives must check in with Health System security personnel at the entrance to a facility. During the check in process, security personnel request identification from the representative and use VendorStat to verify that the representative has a scheduled visit in that facility. A valid in-state driver’s license is the preferred form of identification.

Once the representative’s identification and visit are confirmed, the security personnel print a badge for the visitor to wear during their stay in the facility. The VendorStat badge identifies the visitor by name and with a photograph. This badge also clearly states the access level that the visitor has been granted for the visit and the name of the individual and department that the visitor is scheduled to meet.
